I’ve had this song stuck in my head all day. Fortunately I’m a fan of John Denver so it’s all good. It reminds me of my Uncle Lewis, who also grew up on a farm (although not in Kansas) and was a major influence in my life.

What a beautiful song! I’d never heard it before.

Glad you liked it. It was always one of my favorites, even though it was never a huge hit like a couple of his other songs.

I’ve never covered John Denver, but I do have a folky streak in me that his work fits nicely.

never heard this song but I think I only know one song from Mr. Denver. It’s the “Country Road” song. This must be from the 70’s? His hair on the video takes me back to those times. Nice tribute though.

Glad you liked it. The video came from a TV special he did, “An Evening With John Denver”, in conjunction with an album of the same name released in 1975.
